Founded by Dan Sullivan and Babs Smith in 1988, Strategic Coach is an organization run by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs. Dan had been a one-on-one entrepreneur coach for 15 years before he met Babs, and together they decided to create the company. Partners in life as well as in business, Dan and Babs take over 150 Free Days™ together each year.
With the addition of entrepreneur coaches — long-term participants in the Strategic Coach® Program and experienced, successful business owners themselves — the company is now able to reach a larger audience of entrepreneurs who can use the Program’s concepts and tools to create greater success and freedom for themselves, and more value and satisfaction for their clientele.
The company operates using the same philosophy, tools, and concepts taught in the Program and has grown more than ten times in the past eight years. With over 100 team members, an exceptional team of entrepreneur coaches, and offices in three cities — Toronto, Chicago, and London, U.K. — the company continues to grow, enriching its offerings to an expanding global client base.
Strategic Coach clients have come from over 60 industries and a dozen countries. Participants regularly travel from as far away as South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Hong Kong to attend quarterly sessions with an entrepreneur coach.
